Delmarva Power Smart Home is a pilot program designed to assist residential customers in Maryland with managing their vacation homes or rental properties' energy usage, enhancing comfort, and reducing energy expenses. Participants in this program will receive a Delmarva Power Smart Home kit, equipped with user-friendly smart devices such as plugs, LEDs, and occupancy sensors. The initial step towards establishing your smart home is to download the Delmarva Power Smart Home app.

The Delmarva Power Smart Home app provides comprehensive guidance for setting up your new smart home technology and offers seamless management of your devices through a single application. This app allows you to:

• Remotely monitor and control lighting, home appliances, smart thermostats, and other devices from anywhere or at any time.
• Receive notifications regarding your property's energy usage as well as alerts when occupants arrive or leave the premises.
• Be notified of any doors or windows being opened or if any motion is detected in an unoccupied property.
• And much more!
